About Me

Hello everyone I’m Stephanie, I started my Graphic design path in my Junior and Senior year of high school. Several of my friends and family have inspired me. I’ve always been such an artsy and creative person. I followed my heart of what I wanted my career to be. I believed in myself. I have attended College, where I received my Associates Degree in Applied Science and major in Computer Graphics Technology.

Graduating from college was my best achievement in my life. If it weren’t for my parents, supporting my education I wouldn’t be where I’m at today. I’ve always been gifted in the talent of art. One of my College Professors has said to me that I will always have an eye for editing photos and creating projects. I always get inspiration and keep myself occupied. I have helped a friend design a background for his site a year ago. I like taking on new challenges and figuring out different ways to work on various projects. I look at the perspective and outlook of what I want to create. I always have my brain juices flowing with ideas.

I worked at two different internships. I worked at a photography studio as an assistant taking pictures and editing photos for customers. I have had another internship for the City of Westland. I assisted with coordination for the Bill Wild Campaign. I created brochures for the campaign, I worked in the office, helping coordinate events and assisting with phone calls. Both internships were a great opportunity for my growth in my field.

I have worked at several locations that went right into my career path. I worked for a company a few years ago. I was printing vinyl wraps, and posters for commercial companies. I worked as an office assistant at a company doing photo editing for the catalogs they were producing. My current place of employment I have been at for over a year now. I’m a Photoshop Tech lead. I edit car part images. I always make sure everything is done accurately. I live by high standards and like quality work. My Manager provided feedback that upon my taking the lead Photoshop position the team has performed better quality work at a higher rate per week. I encourage my team to do quality work to edit the photos for the client’s needs and specifications. I understand time is precious, and I treat others the way I would want to be treated. I always communicate with the clientele, my team, and my manager. I always stay flexible to make any last-minute changes.

In my expertise of a graphic designer, summarizing, and content are two inseparable entities when it comes to the final “look and feel.” Therefore, I indicate the necessary ability regarding the whole image of the final product.

What I like to do in my spare time is taking photographs of where I travel, nature, animals and flowers catch my attention. One of my many hobbies is designing and photo editing. Other hobbies which include reading, sports, drawing / painting.

Thus I came this far, overall with what I’ve done from high school, college, different jobs, and time in between. I have improved so much compared to what I have known five years ago to present. I have more knowledge and visual communication. Hard work pays off!!
